VOLUNTEER

There are a number of ways that people can become involved with and contribute to the success of the Pioneers’ Museum, with these dependent entirely on the nature of your interest, your relevant skills and experience, and the amount of time you are willing to commit.

Should you wish to become a member of the Bega Valley Historical Society and participate in its activities, you should go to the Membership tab. However, it is not necessary to become a member of the Historical Society in order to be a Volunteer with the Pioneers’ Museum.

Volunteers with the Museum can become involved in a wide range of rewarding activities, both to themselves and our community. These can include a customer-focused involvement through “front-of-house” activities; a possible involvement in research or administration, or even in specific project activities where the use of specific skills or experience will be beneficial.

What is important to the Historical Society and the Pioneers’ Museum is that its Members and Volunteers are valued and appreciated, and that they are afforded an opportunity to participate in worthwhile and rewarding activities to themselves, as well as our organisation.

Should you be interested in pursuing further involvement, whether through membership or by volunteering, or both, we would encourage you to speak with a member of our Management Committee about your interest.

MEMBERSHIP

Should you wish to become a member of the Bega Valley Historical Society and participate in its activities, you may make an application here. Should you wish to do so, it is open to you as a member to become involved in the administration of the Society, in particular by seeking membership of the Management Committee.
